Stanley Chair’s modest history begins with David Osiason and his three sons Ken, Burt, and Elliot purchasing a fledgling upholstery factory in Tampa, Florida in 1949. The Osiason family had been manufacturing furniture and bedding since the late 1800’s in Massachusetts and Missouri, and they realized the potential of Florida styled furniture and the Florida market.
